Herman Miller

Workplace of the Future Film Series

Project overview:

Created for Rasikas Films and Herman Miller, these films were designed as a series called Workplace of the Future to serve as both internal inspiration to the industrial design staff and as a primary sales tool. The films describe four types of companies—“Iconic,” “Eclectic,” “Visionary” and “Pragmatic”—as they might appear in the future.

Project overview:

My challenge was to create a series of unique stories that felt similar in brand and inspiration, but were different enough to articulate the different attitudes, aesthetics and economic priorities of the different types of companies. I was also charged with designing spaces and furniture that suggested specific design sensibilities, but didn’t try to predict designs of the future (or look like anything that currently existed).
