Verizon NFL PowerHouse

Bryant Park, NY

Project overview:

Batwin + Robin productions, working with Wasserman Media Group, recently partnered with Verizon to create a unique brand experience for Super Bowl XLVIII in New York City’s Bryant Park. The 16,000 sq. ft. personalized interactive experience was geared toward showcasing Verizon’s game-changing technology by immersing fans in the digital frenzy before the Big Game.

When participants signed in to personalize their experience, a player card was instantly generated and would appear above them floating as part of Verizon’s “data visualization stream.”

For the sign-in area, we designed the sign-in application, consulted on the information architecture, and designed and built the custom data stream media.

Project overview:

The first of its kind, this Super Bowl-themed journey celebrating football fandom included six different highly customized user-generated experiences, complete with videos and imagery pairing visitors with their favorite NFL teams and players. From each of the interactive experiences visitors were sent a personalized digital photo or video which they could later retrieve online from a microsite.

In Player Chat, fans first scanned their thumb, then a customized interface would show up asking them to choose which player they wanted to chat with. The personalized video showed incorporated the fan’s name, favorite team and image on a football card, in the locker room, on the stadium and in the endzone.

For the player chat, we designed the interface, designed and edited the attract loop, and designed, edited and built the custom tracking and 3D information system for the live personalizations.
